Abstract

This study examines how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is driving innovation in arts education and
what that means for national development. It dives into how AI tools, like generative systems,
adaptive learning platforms, and smart tutoring assistants, are being woven into the curricula for
visual, digital, and performing arts. By employing a qualitative approach that includes
documentary analysis and comparative case studies, the research leans on Technological
Determinism and Constructivist Learning Theory to illustrate how AI is transforming teaching
methods and student engagement. The findings reveal that AI boosts creativity, fosters
personalized learning, enhances digital literacy, and broadens access to artistic resources, all of
which help strengthen creative industries and contribute to national growth. However, challenges
such as infrastructure gaps, limited teacher capacity, ethical dilemmas, and inconsistent policies
are obstacles to effective implementation in developing regions. The study suggests that focused
investments, curriculum updates, and teacher training are essential to harness AI's potential in arts
education fully.
